El 6 de julio de 2019, The Who encabezó el estadio de Wembley en Londres por primera vez en cuarenta años. El espectáculo fue la única fecha en el Reino Unido en su gira ‘Moving On’ y contó con la banda acompañada por una orquesta de más de 50 músicos que interpretaron temas clásicos de los álbumes Quadrophenia, Tommy, Who’s Next, Who Are You y más temas de su álbum WHO, su primer lanzamiento de estudio en trece años.
The Who With Orchestra Live At Wembley se lanzará el 31 de marzo como una edición limitada de 3 LP amarillo, naranja y rojo, triple vinilo negro y un conjunto de 2 CD / Blu-Ray que presenta el audio remezclado en Dolby Atmos. Además, todos los formatos cuentan con un folleto con fotos inéditas del espectáculo.
Actuar con The Who y una orquesta había sido una ambición de mucho tiempo para el cantante Roger Daltrey “Solo porque es The Who con una orquesta, de ninguna manera compromete la forma en que Pete y yo entregamos nuestra música.
